    Jill Michal, President and CEO of United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Carl M. Buchholz, Managing Partner and CEO Blank Rome LLP and Chair, Board of Directors United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania announce the appointment of Annie Madonia as Senior Vice President of Strategic Philanthropy. Annie joins United Way from the Philadelphia Orchestra where she spent three years leading efforts in fundraising, endowment campaigns and Board development.

  • United Way Women’s Initiative GTLT Gala a Rousing Success

    The 2010 Girls Today, Leaders Tomorrow Gala Dinner hosted by United Way’s Women’s Initiative was held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Crystal Tea Room. The Women’s Initiative is devoted to supporting adolescent girls (grades 6 and 7) through public education, advocacy, volunteer mobilization, and funding to help them develop core values that will protect them from negative influences and support their success as adults.

    Emerging Leaders Program

    United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Emerging Leaders Program is an intensive leadership development program offered to 15 to 20 mid-level nonprofit managers who have demonstrated a commitment to the non-profit sector. High-achieving nonprofit professionals under the age of 40 are encouraged to apply for a place in this year’s Emerging Leaders Program.
