Martin Luther King Day of Service
Each year, Philadelphia-area citizens of all backgrounds and ages answer the
call for community action by volunteering in service projects throughout the
region as part of the Greater Philadelphia MLK Day of Service. Last year, in
the Philadelphia region, more than 60,000 people volunteered in 600 service
projects to honor Dr. King.
